A true friend is honest for he will always tell you the truth. He will do it in a way that it will not hurt your feelings. This only proves that your friend wants only the best for you. This means you know where you stand with your friend and you have no mixed feelings on telling him the truth. You are not afraid to share your feelings and opinions. In order for your friendship to be solid, you should not be afraid to talk to him through healthy arguments. We cannot help it, but friends argue so that they can agree on certain things. They argue to make things between them understand and remove any underlying tensions they have. They may argue on various issues but they forgive and at the end of the day they both embrace and move on hand in hand.
Even if you are BFF or Best Friends Forever, it doesn’t mean that you are confined only to your friend, you have to mingle with other people as well. A true friend will understand that both of you needs to meet other people as well and explore other things without each other. Since you know and understand each other well, you are both confident that at the end of the day, you are still the best of friends. A true friendship means that you trust each other. You are too comfortable with your friend that you share all your feelings and thoughts for you know that your friend won’t tell tales behind your back. You know that if there is one person in the world that you can trust, it your BFF.
A healthy relationship means that you don’t feel ignored if you don’t see him a lot for you know that no matter how far you are, in time of need and despair, your true friend will be the first person you can count on.
